Swiss Chalet, with Grammy for lunch!

Chocolate cupcake with oreo in the middle. It was good!

See?

Free as a bird- if I could fly.
All is peaceful and quiet here right now. Just me and my laptop, in the trailer, fans going, and keyboard typing. Gram is gone to work for a bit, and mom and Bennett went to some Darling Island Bike Shop. What else is new.
I came over to N.B. with Grampy, Grammy, Connor and Bennett on Sunday afternoon. There is Treasure Seekers, in Sussex all week from 7:00 PM TO 8:00 PM. Last night was pizza night, so there was quite a big crowd out!
We are planning to go to a pool today when everyone gets back (better be soon), which should be fun! I love swimming. :)

Brackley Beach Day

Just getting to posting this now. :) Better late than never!
Last Wednesday it was nice and hot, and I didn't have to work! Yipee, it was a day for the beach! We met up with the MacLeod's, packed coolers full of goodies, got on our beach stuff and went to Brackly Beach with our family passes hanging on the front of the windshields. We met up with a few other beach bums, and settled our stuff into the sand. Although quite hot outside, the water temperature was only 16! brrr. Besides that, the water was full of jelly fish too. We weren't in the water too long. After a nice walk up the beach and back, we went up for a refreshing treat at the canteen. Jonathan was nice enough to buy us all a freezie. At 3:30 we had to leave to take Kara to work at Cows Creamery. The moment finally came, that I'd been waiting for all winter and spring, to get a Cows Ice cream cone!!!! Man, was I ever excited as I gave Kara my order, sampling 5 different kinds of icecream before choosing, pralines and cream along with mocha fudge! So delicious! We headed off to Montague for tent meetings that evening, from 7:30 to 8:30. On our way back, Wilma had a brainstorm to get Kara to save ice cream cones out for us when we picked her up from work. Not wanting to pass up a Cows Ice cream opportunity, I got yet another cone of ice cream. I was feeling good by the end of the night!!
Health in a dish.

Beach bums.

Swimming in the water to cool off. haha

Our delightful, little, back-porch supper.

God's Promise

Feeling much like a cow after a big supper of pizza, garlic fingers and crepes for dessert, I decided I'd better hit the road for a jog. Promptly I donned my running shoes, and headed out. The sky was a little overcast, and the thought crossed my mind, that it might rain sometime soon. 3 minutes into my jog I felt what I thought was a rain drop. Another minute passed, and my suspicion was confirmed- it started to rain. Slow little drops at first, then a little more persistent. Just after Grampy and Grammy Raynor honked and drove by me, it started to POUR. My instinct at first was run and seek shelter under the nearest tree or something, but on second thought, I just kept running. There was something refreshing, relaxing about it. Rejuvenating. I felt great running up that hill, car passing me, water dripping of my eye lashes and face. The downpour didn't last long, and soon the sun waas out shining full tilt, making mist rise off the pavement like fog. It was really cool. Then as I turned and looked behind me I saw a big, Seven-coloured rainbow stretching across the cloudy sky. I immediately thought of God's promise- he'll never destroy the earth in a flood again. Which led me to another thought. Just like God promised never to destroy the earth that way again, He promised that "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). It will be 9 years this Saturday when I took in this promise from God. I'll never have to worry about going to Hell, because Christ died for me! I'm going to Heaven! Yet another promise God gave, is the return of His Son, the Lord Jesus. It must be soon, when He'll come to the sky, and take all His Saved Ones up with Him! Thank the Lord I'm saved!

Canada Day

Well, its the fourth of July today, and all of America is celebrating, so I guess it's as good a time as any to post about Canada Day on Friday! I went down to Charlottetown for the day, and watched the fireworks that night. We were having a great time at the MacLeod's in Darlington all afternoon, making human pyramids, playing soccer, looking at horses, etc. then around 5:30, it was time to go to Fort Amerst to meet up with the rest of the celebrators. We had some food there, and played various games and activities, rounding the night off with an illegal bonfire before the fireworks. Everyone waited, anxiously awaiting the fireworks that would soon go off. Finally at around 10:30, the first one went off. Then another. And another. All seemed great. Then, a little black cloud of smoke crowded part of the vision of the firework display. It grew, and grew, and grew, until there was nothing left to see. By the end of it you couldn't even see a thing of the fireworks, except a millisecond of them as they shot from the ground! It was terrible! Everyone had something to talk about afterwards anyway!
Chillaxin at the MacLeod's.

Ahhh, thirst quenching.

The cows jumped over the stones. (No I am not referring to them as cows)

Love this one!

After MUCH counting, jumping, and instructions, we finally got a good picture! Thanks for taking the picture Jonathan.

Yet another form of creativeness.

The creativity just never ends.
