The Attic is on the Way!

So, remember those hideous pictures I posted a while back of our (I'm almost ashamed to say it) attic. Ya I'm sure you did have night mares for weeks after seeing it. Well, it is currently under construction! Half way through to be exact. I am majorly excited about it. We've had MANY kind hearted folk give us a helping hand, like Cousin Joel, Brett O, Sharon T, Timmy M, Jonathan L, um, Mom, Dad, Bennett.... Huh, It seemed like there was more than that. Oh well. They are all hard workers! Here are the pics so far.

I would have to say Christmas is my absolute FAVOURITE time of the year! I just LOVE it!!! Food, Friends, Family. Can't go wrong.

Weird

"And the weather forecast for today, January 25th, 2012 is sunny with a high of 7, and a low of -1." What?!? Did I just hear that right? Well, believe it or not, that's is what the weather was like yesterday! I was outside at work with just my short sleeves! It felt wonderful to have the sun shining brightly, melting all the snow. It was just like spring! Now, generally I don't like spring that much. You must be thinking I'm some depressed person, but its just that when it's hot I like it to be hot all the time, and REALLY hot. Not just "almost" hot, as in 17 degrees. I like it 23 or higher. Or, if it's going to be cold, it may as well be COLD. Like -10 degrees or lower- with snow. But, when does that ever happen right? Anyway, that's just my pointless opinion.
Other years, the 25th of January has brought us snow storms and storms of ice. The record temperature high for Jan. 25, was in 1953, when the temperature was wopping 10.6 degrees! The record Low was in 1961, at a wopping -22.8. Ok, I guess its not that impressive, but still.
There's something about a bright sunny day that brings people out like swarms of fruit flies to a rotten tomato.
