Rehab

Is there such thing as blogger therapy? You could probably make good money at it. Taking in the two extremes: The Blog-happy blogger and the post-poning posts blogger (that would be the category I would fall into right now). Anyway, enough musing for now, we'll head into the updates.
So whats mew with me? Well lets see, got a new job at the Richmond Esso, got my beginners, so I can drive (!!!!!!), My grandmother Jones (from across the pond) came for a short little visit on Saturday (she left today), did schoolwork, slept, had an awesome time at Treasure Seekers last week, got an Ipod, jogged a few times, finished a wedding DVD, baked some pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, and raked some leaves. It kept me entertained for a while.
On Sunday I went down to Charlottetown with Ruth for the the day. After meeting they had a superb meal at the Hall, then did some planning with Uncle Pete for their Treasure Seekers this week. Afterwards, Me, Ruth, Emily, Rachel, Kara, Melody, Andrea and Wilma went to the trailer park to hand out invitations. It was a good time. We stopped at Cows to reward ourselves with a Staff cone. yum, yum, 1 scoop Pralines & cream, 1 scoop oreo, in a dish with a cone on top. Got it down pat now. Except I usually get Moo York Cheesecake instead of Oreo if they have it. We picked up Timmy in Winsloe, and drove to Freetown for meeting. It was a good meeting. We went to see Aunt Lila for a minute, then went to Wendy's/Tim Horton's, where I got a bagel and Cappuccino. We were about to leave, when Joel showed up in the parking lot. We had a bit of a chat, and he told us to come to his place for a bit. So, we agreed to stay for TEN MINUTES. Ya right..... Almost two hours later we said our goodbyes, knowing we were in for a rough Monday morning.

Pictures will be alotted at a later date. Au Revoir. :)

Showers of Blessing

What a marvellous weekend! Saturday Timmy obeyed the Lord in baptism, and on Sunday, 2 more people that I know, started on their way to Heaven!
After the baptism, there was prayer meeting and ministry at the Springfield Gospel Hall. Pete Smith from Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, gave the ministry.
Sunday morning the news reached my ears that a young man from South Africa, trusted Christ as his Saviour! There was no news I would have rather heard. God is so good! Sunday afternoon we had a very good prayer meeting, and some excellent ministry. The Gospel followed later on that evening. It was during that Gospel meeting that my younger brother Bennett, got saved! He didn't tell us until he was going to bed that night.
This is so encouraging, as we are having a week of special children's meetings (Treasure Seekers) with Uncle Pete (Pete Smith). Much effort and prayer have gone into this week, and your prayers would be greatly appreciated as well. It was such a refreshing reminder from the Lord this weekend, that He is able to do more than we ask or think!
The crowd starting to gather for the baptism.

Yes it sure was windy and on the cold side.

Hold on to your hats!

Too cute.

Check it out. :)

Drivers Ed (ucation)

Every Monday and Wednesday from 3:15 to 6:30. As boring as the 25 classroom hours are, I'm enduring it, because I know that once the 25th hour is up, I'm done! The benefits are what I'm going in for; License 3 months earlier, 3 points on your license when you get it (as opposed to none), and lower insurance rates (more noticeable for boys than girls). I'm almost done the classroom time now! Only 2 more classes! Thursday I'll be going to Access PEI and smiling for the camera, to get my BEGINNERS!
 More than a little excited.

Sussex Conference

Another delicious ice cream cake!! Thanks Darlene!

How many boyfriends????

Keirsten and Meaghan.

Rhyl and Vanessa.

Me and Mel.

This weekend I attended for the sixteenth time since my existance, the Sussex Christian Conference! This conference is especially dear to my heart, because my birthday usually falls on one of the days of the conference or slightly before or after it. What better way to spend a birthday than surrounded by awesome friends and ministry from God's Word all day!
Victoria and I. Don't you love our coats? New fashion trend.

Me and Kara matched the whole weekend. No planning involved either!

Isn't that precious? Precious, precious, precious.

Ch'town ladies.

When she had her hat on, we matched.

CANDY!

Sweet Sixteen

One thing that sin't too good for a swollen ego is a birthday. Especially if you have hundreds upon hundreds of people posting birthday wishes on your wall (even if 300 of the posts are the same "happy birthday hope you have a great day" message), you feel a sense of importance. For any of you who wished me a happy birthday on Facebook, or in person, I like to say:
THANK YOU
I'm quite excited for Thursday to dawn, for the express reason of getting my (drumroll please) BEGINNERS LICENSE!!! You have no clue how long I've been waiting for the day I could LEGALLY get behind the wheel of an actual road vehicle!! So just a heads up, to anyone who feels the need, stay off the roads! :)
