The Upside to Spring Cleaning

Today we finally officially started the work on my car! YAY! Thanks Pa!
Dad took the passenger door off, then went on to remove the seats, then the console, then the very bottom bottom floor mats. Under the bottom bottom floor mats dad found a toonie! Then ANOTHER! And another, another, another. They were all stuck to the bottom of the mat thing! $20 bucks in total! They were absolutely disgusting though. I was some excited let me tell ya! Usually I'm not one of those lucky people, who are like walking to their car in the parking lot and they have a 20 dollar bill stuck to their wheel or something. But my luck didn't end there. Dad opened the trunk of the car, and exclaimed, "Look at that, and American Eagle sweatshirt. And 15 more cents... for Canadian Tire!" Looks like Bennett just got a new sweater...
I Googled "how to clean off rusted coins" and found the best (easiest) way was to soak them in vinegar and salt. The other suggestions were Ketchup (which I tried and it actually did work but it just takes longer) Pop (coke or Pepsi) that I also tried, but couldn't tell if it was working or not.
Pre-sing preparations...
Oh ya, on Friday night, the MacKenzie's had a sing song after meeting. The Quigley's from New Brunswick came over, and we all had a great time! We had a cake bcause it was Timmy and Sarah's birthday, along with a bunch of other people who I can't remember (Sorry!).
