Red Bull gives you wings...
WONDERFUL WESTERN WEEKEND
Wow, what an awesome weekend it was! There was no major mishaps, and the forcasted snow held off until Saturday night! A great amount of people made their way across the Bridge of Confederation, to the red-dirt invested island! Friday night we all enjoyed hockey and food at the rink in Borden while people arrived throughout the evening.
Hockey was from 8:30- 11:00 then we ate after the hockey. That meant by the time we got back home to my place, it was a little after 1:00! We had no rush to get to bed though, because we talked, and talked, and talked until the bright ole 3:45! Very wise, I know. Here is the attendance for Friday night: Janelle, Elaine, Lindsay, Sarah W, Brittany B, Kara, Emily H and me! Saturday we had Rhyl and Sharon Frith added to the roll call, and Emily Hyde taken off.
It was a little hard to get up Saturday morning, because of the time we went to bed that (morning).

But, the smells from the kitchen soon won us over and we headed downstairs for breakfast.

Take a moment to admire Janelle's turban please.

"Fork lickin' good!"

When we finished our breakfast, we were much behind schedule for the sledding and activities at the Rodd, but that was ok, because everyone else was gonna be late too. We didn't rush, and just took our time. When we finally got there most of the people were done their sledding, and were either snowball fighting or leaving. We went to the hill for a few runs before we left.
