Another Hot One

Today was another hot day here in FB. It wasn't too bad in the morning, then boom, by 10:00 it got warm! The meeting at the iKaya Levangeli went well, Caleb and Mark each spoke a good word in the Gospel. When we came back to Mark and Gwen's, we each had some snacks to hold us over  until the braai for supper! The heat put a damper on our motivation to do anything, so we all just layed low. They started the braai at around 4:00, cooking mutton (lamb), Boervoors, and chicken cabobs, then finished off with rostile! Just as the last of the food was being cooked, droplets of rain started coming down. It wasn't too heavy at first. We all ate our supper, which was delicious, then we played outside for a while. We were just getting ready for a game of soccer, when the rain started to really come down! I had mixed feelings, so I couldn't decide if I wanted to get soaked and have fun, or stay inside and be boring but dry. I opted for the rain. It was a great time, Elaine even stayed out in it for a while! When it was finished about a half an hour later, I was thoroughly happy to be soaked!
