Spectacular day in P.E!

What a super day today! We hit the road at 7:30am to take the kids to school, then off we headed to the  city of Port Elizabeth, for the day. We stopped at Nanaga's Farm Stall, the same place we stopped last time, for a nice breakfast to get us going for the day. I got an omlette with roastekoek and a strawberry milkshake (so good)! The next place we stopped was at a mall in P.E. Elaine and I went straight to Mr. Price Home, and spent our whole time there, looking all around the store, while the guys went to 3 different malls in the meantime. Upon leaving the Mr. Price mall, we went to another place where there was a bunch of stores. We went into the Oakley store, then to Billabong, where I got a super-comfy pair of flip-flops! We headed through the city's downtown, and over to the waterfront, where the boardwalk is located. While Mark went on some business, the rest of us walked around the different shops on the boardwalk. We walked across the road to the pier on the beach, got a few pictures, enjoyed the view, then went back to the boardwalk. At one point, after Elaine and I went to get an icecream, we came back to find Caleb talking to these people. It was 2 men, a woman and 2 kids about 7 or 8 years old. We wondered who in the world he would be talking to here, but then I saw one of the guys had on a shirt with CROSBY on the back. It turns out that the man, woman and 2 kids had moved to Vancouver 8 years ago, and this was their first time back since then. It was very interesting to think of the odds of meeting someone in Canada! We all decided to go to a coffee shop while we waited for Mark to come back for us. We all sat outside in the breeze, ordered a drink and waited for them to come. When the lady walked out with our orders, we couldn't help but laugh. Elaine's was a big tall glass of smoothie, mine was a regular-sized cup of cappuccino, and Caleb's was this little, tiny cup of expresso, cowering in the shadow of our drinks. It was even more comical when he reached out to take the little cup in his big hand. When the humor passed, and several pictures were taken, we sat back and enjoyed our drinks, some longer than others. Mark picked us up, then we went to drop off Caleb at his bed and breakfast for the week. It was a really nice, classy place, right next to the place where he'd be taking his scuba diving lessons. From there, we headed off, back to F.B. making a few stops on the way. We arrived home at around 7:30, very pleased about our day!

When we stopped at Nanaga's Farm Stall again.

Compare: Elaine's to mine to Caleb's. :)

Standing on the pier in P.E. Please excuse my squinting!
